For some background:
I purchased the car from Switchcars in Ohio on 9/26/2017
The car had 98,630 miles at the time.
I am the 7th owner.
The first 5 owners were in California.
The 6th owner in Kansas.
The car was transported back to Colorado and ultimately delivered on October 1st, 2017.
At the time of purchase and delivery, the car was 100% stock.
But my plan was to change that asap!
I will slowly be building the car to my specifications, inspired by other Hot Rod builds, and some OEM Cup Car attributes.
My goal is to take Road Trips, attend some DE events, and share the car with my friends and family.
It won't be locked in my garage, but the name "weekndr" is descriptive of when it's driven.

enjoy the process and journey... folks who rush through the mods miss a lot of the fun
looks great in white
can never argue with cup 1's but in my experience going with lighter wheels and going 18's make a big difference on handling and responsiveness

Thank you !!
I may have put the cart before the horse with this thread...
The majority of the parts, along with the Cup 1's getting mounted, is being finished up this week.
Should have pictures up by the end of the week.
Thanks Jared, credit to you for the EVO CAI
Thanks for following along so far.
Your Targa is definitely an inspiration on period correctness and class, love it.
I put about 3,000 miles on it in stock form.
It was a great time, but left much to be desired with a very tired set of bushings and struts.
Everyone keeps saying the car will be transformed with the items that get finished this week.
I cannot wait.
I didn't think the weight difference between the D90's and the Cups would be that noticeable, but just holding them in hand was substantial.
If it kills the ride, which I doubt, I'll consider an alternative.
I like what Fifteen52 and Augment are doing with throwback designs and such, but feel the wheels would be the greatness departure in a classic look if I went aftermarket.
Agreed!

Here is a picture right after I installed it.
I have since removed the gold reflective tape and airbox stud on the intake manifold.
