Fans coming on after the ignition is off is normal. They usually won't stay on too long. Even at the track, I can avoid this by a prolonged cool down lap at low RPMs and high speed to emphasize cooling. If you're coming home after an aggressive drive, try making a conscious effort to take the last mile or two at lower RPMs and increase the airflow.

Sorry I should have given more detail, it’s my heater blowers in the car that won’t turn off, I have read on here that someone had the same issue and it was the final stage/ the high current drive that regulates the fan speed, I just don’t know where this would be located on my 981 Cayman?
