Default 964 Race junkies

Who's still driving his 964 in full race setup? Past 2 years it seems I'm the only one left in Belgium.
Looking to share experiences and setups.

964 '92 C4 converted to C2
  • RS suspension with H&R sway bars
  • Carbon ft hood, fiber glass doors and rear deck lid.
  • 993TT ft, 993 rr calipers
  • Scart RSR headers and muffler
  • Mildly tuned engine
  • 1080 kg
Below pictures from Spa outing in April.

i do nearly the same.

Blue C4 (still) with RS coils, RS Brakes, Unibal Joints all around, manual steering rack, tweaked engine, header, RS bucket seats...

Just do trackdays with the car...

I live in Frankfurt and therefore the ring is my home turf :-)

I'm still running my 964 Carrera Cup. Here are two shots from Watkins Glen and Thompson Speedway. Due to the rarity/value of the Cups, I'm converting two 964's this year at my shop. One for myself and the other for a customer. Both will be lighter/more powerful/upgraded suspension, etc...

Is that John K.'s old car? He put a ton of money in that puppy.

Good luck with it! Maybe I'll run into you one time at Palmer. NER region is doing another vintage day at Palmer.

very likely we will run into each other. I go to Palmer from time to time. Spend a lot of time at the Glen and LimeRock.

I'm planning on going to that Vintage Day DE day @ Palmer (9/14). I'll be in my 993 most likely, unless I can somehow get my 964 finished & break-in the engine by then....

This is a 993 bodied '92 that we just started racing in American Endurance Racing http://americanenduranceracing.com/
Our first outing was earlier this year at NJ Motorsports Park Thunderbolt Circuit. Planning to run Summit Point and Mid Ohio later this season. We have a few few issues to iron out, but the car went the distance (9 hour races each day over 2 days).

What tyres are you running on your 19” ATS Super Lights? I used to have a set of those years back circa 2005 on my first 993 C2 as I worked for the U.K. importer. I can’t remember the offsets but I had to run 10mm spacers on the rear to clear.
