iPhone mount

I have one of these custom 964/993 phone mounts a Rennlister made on his 3-D printer. I opted for the one that slips into the ashtray for my iPhone, and I love it:

I took Keith’s advice and also bought the Rennline one last year. So far it’s worked great. Only real complaint is that I knock it off on occasion adjusting the climate control or the radio. I just try to position the magnet a little lower on the phone to have it mounted a little higher and it’s usually not a problem then.

I too have the Rennline mount but I flipped mine over and mounted it on the left using the fuel gauge. The only **** on that side is for the lights which I rarely touch. This keeps the HVAC and Radio ***** and buttons completely clear which I fiddle with all the time.

Anker Air Vent Magnetic Car Mount, Highly-Adjustable Phone Holder
I use that one and love it. Very sturdy and does not move around at all. Yes, it blocks the vents but it doesn’t block them so badly that it affects airflow when tbe AC is running. I use a cheap phone case to attach the magnetic pad to and leave that case always attached in the car. Whenever I get out of the car I take my phone out of the case that has the magnetic pad and put it in a different case with no magnetic pad for caring around. Sure it takes a few seconds every time getting in and out of the car but I like very slim and light weight phone cases and I don’t want to carry one around with a magnetic pad attached to the back of it. For $10, you cannot go wrong.
