got a print out from pet , found the part
but i only 4 mins left

managed another bit longer !!!

that part number is number one on the pet parts list
"911 561 927 00 main top folding bow left side"

will go to my car tommorrow and have a look at the broken roof , and let you know .

the roof is broken somewhere , but you may be in luck

Ian - THANKS - I've got my fingers crossed...

Thanks for remembering me - really appreciate it.

Bearig in mind the work involved to change the part, I'm thinking of changing the roof canvass to a 993 style roof. Mine is a bit tatty in places, and torn where the folding bow snapped.

www.cabrioworld.com do a 993 roof for a 964 for $560 (they sent me sample fabric too)...I just need someone to fit it for me.

i forgot to answer that bit ....... the guys name is john i think , a top trimmer i used in the past recommended/uses him for roofs
out in the sticks near colne/bradford ( got lost)

top bloke !!!!
well recommend him
hes re-fitting my back seat hinges at the mo
will post his details tommorrow
