Default WTB: fuel pressure regulator

Preemptively replacing this as part of my engine build.
Does anyone have a source for these? The Bosch #0280160297 unit is NLA...anywhere, at any price.

Looks like OEM part is not available...

These show 1 in stock but I'd call and confirm:

Thanks Spyerx, forgot about Parts Geek.
I ordered it thru them, let's see if they come back with "NLA" like everyone else....
I didn't even see the part listed on Sunsets site. I'll call them on Monday.

Just as I thought. The Bosch FPR is permanently NLA. At any price. Anywhere. I've looked.
If they list it in stock....its not. I have purchased it twice & needed to be refunded.
Sunset lists the replacement part #928-110-198-04 @ $325.88. I've seen it for $309 but at these prices I'll
have to wait until mine fails. Oh well....

Bill, this is a very interesting story. Especially since Bosch makes those FPR's for Porsche !! There must be a new part number from Bosch coming ? I struggle to believe they will either (1) not make the part any longer, or (2) will only supply directly to Porsche? or (3) ???

I'm hopeful this is just a temporary issue...

Sorry you are caught up in it !!!

R.

This used to be a $100 Bosch part. It's been Porsche taxed.
Anyone that needs one now due to failure will have to pay. I'll update if I hear anything....

I'm in the hunt for a Bosch FPR and having the same difficulty and same issues, NLA. My local Napa said they can get their brand that they say is supposed to be equivalent or exceed OEM standards. What's everyone's feelings on Napa for this part. It comes with a good warranty too I think.

I would spend the extra $200 for the OE Porsche part that lasts 20+ years.

I would imagine that any 3-way 3.5 bar regulator would work. Just a matter of adapting the fuel fittings. Worth a search?
