Default Asking for a friend...

A friend of mine is thinking about selling his 964... 89 C4 White on tan.

Should he Bring it back to stock? (Wheels, Interior bits, mirrors,)
Or sell it as is?

Just wondering what everyone thinks.

Wouldn't it make more sense if you posted some high quality pics so we can see how it is now? You are giving us nothing to render an opinion on.

Added a photo.
I'm not at home so I'm limited on the amount of photos I have.

I think photos matter less than understanding the mods. If it truly is just wheels, aero mirrors, and interior nicknacks, I'd post a price with and without the wheels. I don't see how the other parts provide a ton of value to you in resale when you compare the effort to take them off.

If you are talking about different seats, dampers, etc, then maybe its a different story. But I'd post prices with and without. Let the market decide.

Also.. Would people like a more stock "ish" car.. Over a modified one.
But I guess that depends on the buyer.

Looks like a fairly stock car to begin with

-Nobody will be upset By stock wheels, but may not like your choice in aftermarket. Sell those separately.
- I can't imagine there is anyone the prefers the stock flag mirrors vs aero. Include the flags with the sale just because you can.
-what interior bits are done?

Just because something is newer doesn't make it better. +1 for flag mirrors. One doesn't see any 930 owners replacing theirs, does one?

I think when the time comes. The Flag mirrors are going back on.

I enjoyed the 930 comment btw.

One could argue that the 964 has cleaner look to it... so the newer mirror blend in... who knows..
