B&B Single or Dual?????
Hi All,
I finally got my B&B headers for X'mas, and wow it came with a dual inlet single outlet muffler. Installed both, and wow, very very very quiet compared to my factory headers and muffler. Maybe too quiet, so I call B&B and tried to find out if I can cut a hole on the left side of the muffler to make it a dual outlet. According to Mike at B&B the internals of the single muffler is different compared to dual outlet and you cannot just cut into the leftside of the muffler. Also I asked him if there is any more advantages in hp & torque gain? He replied none whatsoever, other than 3 times as louder. Does this seem right?
As always, all info is greatly appreciated!!!
