What intriques is where on 930 this belt was used or was intended to be used and never was. I cannot think of anything but I love a challenge. Please all remember that Gates make an equivalent belt that works very well.
One concern I have with the Porsche belts is their age. I wonder being 930 parts if they still have them made or they are original spares stocking from the earlier days. These belts would have a maximum shelf life of between 10 and 20 years so they are getting on a bit, if original stock.

I checked PET. If you do not have this part number to input you will never find it. All it comes up with is toothed belt. No application or model or anything. So in theory it is in PET but unless you know the part number you will never be able to find it and even if you did it tells you nothing.

For the "Pulling the plug wires" Question above this post.
Loop a stiff, heavy gauge, rubber coated wire around and under the boot edge and pull up. Once you have one wire off, access is easier as you work around the perimeter of the cap.
I know, I hate the thought of ripping them. It seems there's a vacuum that has to be overcome for them to pull off.
That sounds like the ticket, using the coated wire method. I also thought of using a blow dryer (wifes) to heat the rubber a bit to expand and soften it. I'll let you know how it works out when I get back at it. Probably won't be until the dizzy parts arrive. Thanks for the tip.
I bought one from my local main dealer part number checks out as above ie 930-602-134-00. Description on the sticker says "Distributor belt, 911 Carrera 2/4, 1989-1994 Distributor drive belt, toothed, 1 per car" Also has a date on it but that could be stock date not manufacture date. I could email the bar code sticker if you're really interested. Does seem odd to have a 930 no. Cheapest part I've ever bought from the dealer thats for sure!
