Resonance flap test ???
What am I doing wrong?
I hooked up a vacuum pump inline near the tee left of the solenoid and pumped up to 20 and vacuum held steady.... I turned key to on and heard the click and checked my gauge and solenoid must of opened and gauge went to 5?
I also just pulled hose off solenoid and with my hand on spindle of resonance flap, sucked on hose and flap is moving freely ...
John M. - If you read this, I saw your quick video and can’t tell what hose you tapped into and would like to know why your test only clicked off a few clicks each time you actuated key?

Matthew, I tapped in at the point where the intake pulls the vacuum. It’s on the pic in my thread.
It’s interesting that you bled so much pressure off with each activation of the solenoid. I’m not sure that’s an indication of an issue though if it holds vacuum otherwise.
