Adding a LSD...........
Question. Would adding an aftermarket LSD hurt the cars value, not matter whatsoever or be an asset down the road if selling the car.

During my short ownership, on a couple of occasions already I've wished I had the benefits of a LSD.
Like many others expound on....... I plan to keep this car forever but realistically I will indeed sell it one day, even if that's 10 years or more down the road. I guess I'm hoping I'll get my money back for the investment of adding a LSD.

Agree with previous replies. If it worries you, just place the open diff in the box the LSD came in, and give it to the buyer.
Every usable part that has ever come off of my car is stored in boxes in the attic so when my heirs sell the car for penny's on the dollar(!) after I kick, the buyer will also get all the original parts.

Anyone familiar with Wavetrac Differentials? If so, any opinions? http://wavetrac.net/
It's what my local shop has recommended.

Wavetrac is probably the only way to DIMINISH the value of your car
OEM or Guard, otherwise just keep it stock.

JMHO,
A Guard LSD represents added value and that means full cost recovery at resale.
None of the others provide the same value and would have little or no cost recovery.
