Thanks for the nice picture!! Was having a lovely dinner in a place next door called Wally's...good food, interesting crowd and got to be the cheapest place to drink good wine in Beverly Hills!!! Next day has been a bit of a difficult one tho...
Loved Luft 5 by the way, one of the best Porsche event I've ever been too...absolutely brilliant!
Wasn't my favorite venue. Preferred Modernica.
Cars were on point, just think I missed a lot with how it was spread out. ...
your the first person I’ve heard that didn’t like the venue. Everyone I spoke to loved it and felt the large expanse of open areas made it feel less crowded. Not to mention the very angular backdrop of the lumber against the fluid lines of the cars made for great photography. Perhaps you just didn’t walk around enough.
Haven't been out west in a pretty good while. Glad we made a very long weekend out of it. Malibu will see us again soon.

Funny, you posted a photo with my daughter in it, near the green 911S with the FFAASTT license plate. (She's got a bruised heal, hence the boot.). She was a great trooper (and giving her the camera didn't hurt). She loves seeing all the cars with "eyeballs," which most A/C Porsche's have in spades. Thanks.

I thought you were going to say that this was your daughter!
I enjoyed it. Was at the Luft x Petersen event also on Friday but the Luft5 at Ganahl Lumber Yard venue was better and worth the face value admission tix. Glad I got one but I heard some guys were trying to sell tix for $100-$200 each. Ouch. Actually I was also surprised how laxed the ticketing/entrance check was... I think one could have walked in w/o notice. The merchandise lines were long and they ran out of L sizes in no time.
One thing that would have been nice was if the cars had a bit more description such as color name, specifically. Many cars didn’t have any year/model designation neither especially for those general public attendees that are non-Porsche versed. The venue and car arrangements were great though. Imagine Porsches galore displayed at each aisle in your local Home Depot or Lowes. They tried to group chassis cars together as much as possible but it was still spread out enough. So for example you can see a 964 by the entrance and then again at the opposite end. Anyway it’s well worth the trip even if you’re out of state.... looking forward to Luft6 already.
