I am not aware of any muffler that gives you any power gain (beside the +5hp of the stickers you put on the cars)

ha ha well said !
regarding exhaust someone could spend weeks on a dino developing,
noise don't mean power, often damaging torque curve, been wear t shirt, hat and swimming wear :-((((
So far I guess the winners are decat, second muffler delete with Gpipe, possibly with a better after market primary muffler.

Hah, well stickers ALWAYS give you that extra edge. I guess internally I’m just kicking around the idea of a GT3 setup vs the brombacher/m&m exhaust. Both sound good, though I imagine the m&m is one of the few setups that makes extra power.

That said the price delta if you want to keep heat is pretty terrible.

Here you go. My car has B&B headers, into the loud outlet with the quiet outlets capped. It howls, I get lots of compliments on track. FYI, in this configuration at NCM, it registered 103.5db @ 50 feet (that’s loud).

Porsche Motorsports did see an increase with the GT3 muffler so they used it on the cup (they were surprised too). I don't remember the exact issue of Racecar Engineering but it was the issue that covered the last mezger 991 cup.

If you are in CA and looking for GT3 muffler - price seems decent

intersting info, how does it compare to a 964 engine, the heads and cams will be different, no ?

My body shop did the blank out, mesh welded a piece from an old bumper then blended it to look OEM, any good body shop should be able to do the same.

Still just using the LOUD option, on the fence over combining the quiet inlet... This is a quote from my missus on the current option "We're never going to talk in the car again, are we!"

Can't comment on any power gains but it definitely feels like it revs more freely, accidently hit the rev limiter a couple of times

Sounds about right to me (no pun intended), it's been well documented that the standard setup is pretty much spot on apart from the CAT delete releasing maybe 1HP
You just move the torque curve about and change the exhaust note depending on your choice of CUP pipe or G pipe.

From what I learned the power to be made is 80% from getting better headers.

the 20% is between headers, from George's euros to S-car-go.
