Those are the same coil packs I use - or very close.
Where did you get the brass fittings for the spark plug sockets (they look very functional). I had to make my own, while they work, your brass fittings looks cleaner.

I made them from some stock brass bar. They're a little rough round the edges when looked at closely but they function all the same.

Ok - thanks - I made mine by soldering several different spark plug connectors together. Looked high and low to find a connector that would do the job but gave up. Interesting that you elected to lay your coil packs down while I mounted mine up right. But we both used the original distributor area and a distributor base as anchor unit.

I’ll be getting back on a dyno soon to hopefully get some proper figures. I had cam timing issues last time but i’ve sorted all that now.

Thanks. I should probably update my build thread as there have been many further improvements in that area since those pictures were taken. No need for the fuse box as everything that previously required it no longer exists 🙂. I’ve a modem lightweight custom engine loom. It’s all in my build thread. Yep, the bracket I machined out of ali to utilise the old dizzy mounting point.

[QUOTE=Gus;14788922]I understand that using different DYNO sources can result in a significant variable between each htat is hard to take into account. I have used the same dyno ever since I first got my car. I did the first dyno run as a total stock 964 without any changes:
*** For the first DYNO run numbers were - Max Torque 222 at 5150 RPM, Max HP 242 at 6300 RPM.
Over the years the engine and car have been modified and after each major engine change I did another DYNO pull. I must say that the most significant single gain was after I switched from the stock exhaust to headers and a free flow exhaust system, resulting in a 18 HP increase.

Hi Gus,
18 bhp @ the wheel increase from the exhaust , that is great, do you know how much torque increase too ?
could you please share the specs of the exhaust,
who made it ?
Thanks
