Hi. Nice progress on your car! It's looking classy...

I was trying to piece together the full-specs of your wheel, tire and alignment package because I'm always on the lookout to understand what works on these cars and it might be useful for others.

So...
F 18x8.5 with 225/40 tires (Firestones?) - Offset?
R 18x10 with 255/35 tires (Firestones?) - Offset?

Questions:
Are you able share your alignment settings? (F/R Camber, Toe, castor, how low?)
What are the wheel offsets?
Do you have the steering spacers/stops installed?
Fender lips rolled front and rear?
Some plastics trimmed in the front fenders?

That wheel design does a good job at accentuating the lips/dish!

Thanks!

I am pretty sure that the offset information is on the wheels, i will look next time i pull them off the car because i do not have that offhand.
The tires are Firestone Firehawks currently.
I do not have the alignment details on me either unfortunately. I can measure the height, just need to know what you'd be looking for (center of wheel well from ground?)
No spacers.
Fenders rolled both front and rear
No trimming other than the small filing in driver front fender well that Porsche recommends for oversized wheel

Hope that helps if you would like anything else, just let me know.

Couple pics from a concours over the weekend. My car finished second in the division - i was pretty happy with that, lots of deserving cars in the class.

it's surprising we don't see some of the early 928s running those rims - that would look fantastic. always thought the more sculpted phone dials look great.

Beautiful car! The wheels and tires as well as the other details you have added make it look almost new. Its certainly a keeper in my opinion.

Well i swapped out the coco mats for some lloyd's mats. I love the coco mats, but with the change to the houndstooth, it was just too much. (the mats are for sale currently in the marketplace if anyone is interested - basically brand new). I also installed a Rennline floor board on the driver side. I am in the process of getting the driver mat modified so that it covers less of the floor board, so i will post some new pics once that is complete.

Lastly, i decided to swap to the silver rennline pedals from the black ones i had. I thought i would try the dark pedals, but with the interior change, i really think the silver will complete the look i am after a bit better. I am just waiting on the final adjustable throttle pedal which should arrive next week to complete the install.

How do you find the adjustable pedal compared to the factory one?

I ordered the same kit in the all black (floorboard, dead pedal, & pedals) but didn't realize I ordered the normal Rennline gas pedal. Haven't put it in (or even taken them out of the box... busy winter!)

PM me if you are going to sell your gas pedal.. or the whole kit.

I have the non adjustable pedal on my 997 and I like it just fine, it is cheaper and honestly I like the adjustable one as well, however i purchased it more for the looks than the functionality. I don't think you can go wrong with either. Think its more personal preference.

I have a buddy local who i think is taking the pedals, but if that falls through i will let you know.

The black mats go well with the houndstooth seats.

Thanks - i agree.

I installed the last pedal last night.

Today i dropped the mat off at the upholstery shop as i am going to trim 2-3 inches from the top to show more of the floor board.

Also swapped in some LED reverse lights - old on right, new on left.
