Default Opposing bolt connecting rods

Autoverdi connecting rods (no affiliation)

I’m just in the process of writing up my purchase list for my engine build. I ran across a manufacturer of connecting rods (autoverdi) that I was recommended by a non Porsche driving friendly engine builder.

They do custom rods for a fair price but have the bolts on the opposing side.

Does anyone have any negative experiences with this kind having the bolts on the opposite side in a 964 engine?

I will be running a GT3 crank with 102mm P/C.

Any feedback on the opposing bolts? The rods would have to go onto the crank before closing up the case and you would not be able to dismantle them without splitting the case.

I suppose there could be clearance issues inside the case but that would be an easy fix unless where you needed to remove metal there was an oil galley

Thanks for the reply. Comparing to the original rods they are not protruding further than the bolt and nut combo Porsche normally uses.
