Spent 5 hours detailing the frunk to the max! Probably 2 hours left tomorrow and I'll be happy!

Just noticed your 964 is a left hooker (frunk opposite). How do you find it..?

hey mate, I had no idea they were opposite! That's a keen eye for detail! First lhd car I've ever driven and it's not too bad. Took a few drives to get used to being in the lane properly, I was driving with the passenger wheels on the center line but I'm used to it now. The only hard thing is overtaking or turning in front of incoming traffic! I put my full trust in the Mrs to tell me I'm fine to overtake!

Really wish I took some before photos. The whole thing was caked with all this black crud. Was so hard to clean. No idea what it's from.https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...73ad8c550e.jpg

Hey there! I just used degreaser and a scrubbing brush until it was pretty clean then i used these wipes that we had for cleaning things around the house. I just kept wiping things until the wipes weren't dirty anymore! Theres probably a better way of detailing a car but it came up like new! Just took about 6 hours 😆

Anybody know what this round black thing is? Seems to be a catch can of some kind.

540964 01-19-2018 08:46 PM

Carbon canister?

Marine Blue 01-19-2018 09:18 PM

Looks like the fuel vapor recovery canister, is it leaking?

Your frunk looks absolutely spotless! Order some Gummi Pfledge for the seals, it will seriously make them look and feel new again.
