Default Where is the water coming from?

Just opened up the front and started checking the battery and I noticed a large patch of water to the left of the spare. No water on the trunk liner, just under it. Quite a bit too. Thought it may be a leak. But everything was dry and the car has not been driven recently. Anyone had a similar experience. Any ideas? Thanks

Are your drain tubes missing?

- Just checked and drain tubes seem okay. There was some water sitting in the usual place inside the front left next to the spare. Car is outside but no rain or snow since last water check. Thinking that it could be condensation or even a leaky bobber seal. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks

Water can leak past the hood gasket, it runs down the seal and then comes down the sides of the trunk without getting the carpet wet. You can check them by putting talcum powder on the seal and spraying water around the closed hood; it will then be easy to see where water is leaking after you open the hood.
