Rattle behind driver side dash
I have a noise that sounds like it is coming from behind the driver's side of the dash (left). Almost like from the center od the dash to the left of the steering wheel. Any thoughts? Thanks for any replies.

I had a creaking sound that was soooo annoying that sounded like tinny plastic somewhere in the dash. I noticed it only when going over bumps or on less-than-perfect roads. Turns out it was a deformed piece in the front that connected the battery to the body of the car.

I had one rattle and after second attempt to address it I now have 2 more rattles! One is behind the seatbelt one in steering column and one in A pillar! I now raised it with the service manager. I am so angry to give the car back yesterday telling me all is fixed!

I have the same coming from left of the steering wheel. Its not the CCU fan (although that is noisy too) its on the other side of the wheel and starts when going over rough road or bumps. Sounds just like you describe melman911 ... would also like to know if anyone fixed something similar.

I am getting the same rattle from around the steering column and also one that seems to be coming from the passenger door. The good thing is that they are both loud and consistent on most roads with a few bumps. I was able to record it with my phone and airdropped to the service manager and the technicians. Technician test drove the car with me immediately said this is bad. I waited a long time for this car and it’s only three weeks old 2023 991 S , but I’m confident they will discover and solve the issue.
