John, may be you don't love the sound under load at low rpm's, I agree in that, but the sound that comes out the "instrument" is soooo great from 3000rpm's an up!

May be you are getting too old for these things

Sorry guys, it just sounds like a wet f##t to me!

How can you not be happy with your 964's glorious original soundtrack?

Phil,

How exactly does one moderate a wet f##t, I haven't had much success in that area.

trying to sift through all that banter .....

Under 3000 rpm not the best but above that is where the fun begins?

John, nothing wrong with the original sound track just needs enhancing within certain tonal ranges (IMHO). And as you said, can always try it out with duct tape first !!

You get a very good idea of the sound if you download John M's lap of Castle Combe from Greg's site at www.carmovies.net.

Has anyone had a problem with a bad mass flow sensor that was caused by the oil that you have to spray a K & N filter with? That seemed to be the consensus on the failure of the unit. After two years, I'm taking out the K & N cone filer and switching back to the stock assembly, albeit, drilled out Hey, I run straight exhaust...noise is all a matter of perspective.
