Default What Type of Floor Mats do you Prefer and Why??

Mine are looking tired and I figured I'd go with the coco mats I recently bought for a different car but maybe there is a better option out there.

All about options, right?

Think there are any that are embossed with KISS ARMY on them?

What say you, sayers?

I recently installed the Porsche OE mats in my 964 and I'm very happy with them. They include a retaining bracket that keeps both front mats in place although I'm only using the driver side at the moment.

About $150 on Suncoast plus shipping.

I have Lloyds mats in my cars. I was told that the OEM were NLA at the time. They are thicker that the factory carpets but look nearly original. If I replace mine, I think I will go back to originals.

I agree. Knowing that the OEM's are available and at that price, that's going to be the ticket.

Thanks for the responses.

I really like the Rennline track mats.
I like the look of the cocoa ones better for the most part.

I always thought it was strange to put another set of mats over the carpet (mats). How much are a replacement set of carpets either side, especially as the passenger never gets worn much. I am on the original carpets and they look fine.

Dean @ diamondmats.com

Could probably make you a Kiss Army version if you can provide him with the image. He made custom Audi S4 ones for me, and I love them. Soccer-cleat-friendly. No affiliation, other than a satisfied customer.

Here's a pic from his site. I have the same Audi Logo, but not my car.....

The Porsche original over mats with the clips are the gold standard. They keep the original mats in great condition and I would hate to think how much those would cost to replace in comparison.

Another nod to OEM. Although I have seen cocoas in a 964 and they look great. Nothing wrong with 2 sets.

My Lloyds were beautiful coming out of the box however discolored with cleaning (Classic grey). I have a used but pristine set of OEMs put aside for whenever.

+1 for Rennline Track Mats.

Was never a fan of floor carpets that move and slide in a sports car.

+1 On the OEM mats. Can't beat the clips and they are durable. They look great to.
