Default Not all 18" speedline wheels are alike. Or are they?

So I have stumbled upon some interesting info regarding speedline wheels. Although we are all familiar with the standard sizes as used on the 92 turboS and the 94 turbo 3.6
8 x 18ET52 and 10 x 18ET61 there are many other variations that many of us will never see in our lives.

I started a thread on the cup car forum to see why there are two different 9.5" revisions of the wheel one in an ET 47 and another with ET of 57. It is interesting to see what happened back then. There were so few of these made and the variations are confusing but we seem to be getting someplace.

You might want to read the thread and see what we found out and if you have info that would also be very helpful.

One thing about the 964 that intrigues me is there are so many variations and incorrect info regarding these cars, after all these years mysteries still need to be unraveled.

I hope you find this as interesting as i do.
