Default Indicator noise (or lack thereof)

This may seem like a strange post, but my C4 is the only car I have ever driven in which I frequently foget to switch of my indicator (or turn) lights! The tk, tk, tk is so quiet that I just dont hear it! My other cars are much louder and I never have this problem! Are all 964 indicators this quiet or is whatever makes (should make) the noise in mine simply worn out? If the latter, then what needs replacing? Please advise - You could be behind me one day! LOL!

Cheers,

--Howard.

Yes, mine is very quiet, too. It's louder than my 65 911!! I always forget to turn off the signal in that car because the turn-cancellation in the steering column is worn out, too!! And on sunny days it's a dim set of lights!

Mine too,
As they say, the first things to go are the eyes and ears. After that, it's uh, well, hmm, I forget....Oh yea! the brain. Good thing hand-eye coordination and driving skills stay intact!

Cheers,
D

PS My sisters 560SL (same era) is even worse.

I've driven for long periods of time with the turn signal on, thinking that all those people waiving at me were acknowledging the car. Some even gave me 1/2 the peace sign.

Too Funny,
I beleive that George Carlin once said something along the lines of...
It takes two people to make love, not one.
It takes two fingers to make a peace sign. so if you are only showing one finger, you are merely f*^#ing yourself.

Drive with both hands on the wheel, unless shifting, or waving someone onto your lane.

Going to bed now..fighting off the 'new and improved' flu virus for this year.

Peace with both fingers.
