I know this has been discussed on here before but I hadn't seen it recently so I figured I'd ask if anything has changed. What is the best service manual for DIY work on our cars? I've seen full service manuals for download for a price. Or the Bentley service manual which seems more that juts service related. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Depending on what you are trying to do, different books are helpful. I have the following
1) Factory workshop manuals
2) Bentley Technical Data Without Guesswork spec book link
3) Adrian Streather's 964 Companion book link
4) Porsche PET Catalog (parts diagram) link
5) Rennlist membership
Those are the primary books, I have others such as
1) Wayne Dempsey's 911 Engine rebuild link
