Currently own an '82 SC and am looking to increase the stable....Starting to look at some 964 C2s'. What were the more desirable years, options, mods etc?

Thanks in advance!

82SC is a great Porsche - I had an 81SC before moving to my 93 C2. One source of information is the perpetually in process 964 FAQ, which can be seen here. There's information on them in several books, including Paul Frere's 'Porsche 911 Story' and Peter Morgan's 911 book. Rennlist forum moderator Adrian Streather has just authored a book on 964's, published by Robert Bentley and available this month. Bruce Anderson periodically discusses them in his column in Excellence magazine, which I've found to be pretty good high level summaries of the models discussed. If you have years past of the PCA's Panorama or Up-Fixin, there are a number of articles on 964's that will be of interest too.

Classic911, When your done with all that check out the "search" area (right-uppermost cornor) here on Rennlist for specfic questions you may have.
Take your time and you'll Love it, still classic lines with nice usefull "modern" benifits.
Good hunting
