Default WTB: Clear or Amber front turn lenses

Hi gang,
I'm looking to buy turn signal and side marker lenses, either amber or clear. I need them to be in good condition, as the ones I'm replacing are faded. Well, one is faded, the other I wacked off when I hit a pylon at VIR. Funny, hitting a pylon at an autocross doesn't do anything, hitting it during a DE destroyed the lense...guess it's the speed differential

Thanks

Hi Rob,
I hope a pylon in the UK is the same as the US. Usually an orange rubber cone about 18" high (although I think the ones at VIR may have been bigger or at least they looked that way). Either way, the pylon was toast. It split off its base. At least now we know that particular pylon wont' be around to harm anymore cars

Manny,

Rob's picture is a typical Pylon in the uk. carrying all 132,000v........hit one of these at speed and you're toast. Saw it happen once on the run home from Birmingham (UK) ....horrid business.

They stopped using these at UK autocross events many years ago for that very reason.

We Brits also call them cones in addition to bollards as they also do where I live now in California - a pylon is a pylon I've found on both sides of the Atlantic so far. A pile-on however is completely different and usually reserved for men in striped shirts on top of sheeps bladders or bitches in heat next to a smelly dumpster...

Colder than a witches hat. Now, that sounds vaguely familiar.

Manny, try Peter at Rennspeed...he sells the clear marker lenses for $85, the WHOLE set.

Email him at: rennspeed@4dcomm.com

Tell him Jeff sent ya.

Lookout for those pylons!! ...did you add another decal to your 964 to commemorate the collision?
