Just found Rennlist has a Wheel and Tire forum. I've no idea what a 'tire' is but there's a long thread on the S-03 - some like em and some hate em, but no one mentions that they're not suitable for a 911.

I have a new set of SO3s on my Turbo 3.6; they replaced an ageing set of SO2 N1s.
The initial drive after they were fitted was like night and day, probably because the SO2s had been around a while [the SO3s felt tight and were very grippy and predictable on my drivers' ed day].
Given the choice again I'd do the same [not that I'd have much choice as the SO2s are like hen's teeth to find in the 265/35 ZR18 size].
