Default Targa Clips

I have been searching for a while with little or no luck on this topic.

Here's my challenge: one of my targa clips tends to slip off the front roof frame. This creates an opening that allows air to come noisily into the car. I have been looking for replacement clips and have found some at Performance Products. They claim their clips are better then the originals (which can be found at Pelican).

Has anyone replaced their clips; or know of, or heard of someone who has? (Think seven degrees of Kevin Bacon If so, did the replacement work? Or maybe is there another alternative, like putting velcro on the liner and roof frame to lock it in place.

As always, any and all suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Have you tried repositioning the clip(s)? Undo both screws until you can slide the clip to a position that provides a bit more security. It might be worthwhile checking the position of all 8 clips...

Roly,

I did try adjusting the one clip, however, I did not adjust the other seven. I will give that a try.

Thanks.
