Default What is this trim called?

I have searched PET and some websites and not having success identifying this panel weather trim strip? What does Porsche call it? Anyone know the part number? I am removing the OE 23yo 3m fender protection film for replacement and want to address some of this too...

I think that's the part you are referencing. There seems to be a L and R part #, so double check before ordering.

Considerably cheaper for factory parts at Sunset Porsche and the cowl trim is a royal PITA to replace unless your fender weld has already been broken.

+2 on Sunset for OEM parts and if you call, you generally can get a better price than their online price.

The autoatlanta diagrams are a great resource for finding part numbers, definitely worth the bookmark.

Porsche calls those parts sill covers, and the rubbers strips cover strips, here are the reference number for them from the PET:
964 559 293 01 - Front (long) Left
964 559 294 01 - Front (long) Right
964 559 295 01 - Rear (short) Left
964 559 296 01 - Rear (short) Right

They are POS 5 and 6 in illustration 810-05 of PET for the 964

Those part numbers are considering your car is not a turbo or a turbo-look

The other is called Wing Seal and its part number is 911 799 503 07, they are the same for left & right, so you'll need to get 2 of those. It is POS 19 in illustration 801-30 of PET for 964

Thanks me61ic. Mine is Turbo-Look and appears that involves some of the 965 prefix numbers.

Cheers!

Then these are the references:

965 559 293 00 01C Rubber Cover Strip /V/L Turbo Look
965 559 294 00 01C Rubber Cover Strip /V/R Turbo Look
965 559 295 00 01C Rubber Cover Strip /H/L Turbo Look
965 559 296 00 01C Rubber Cover Strip /H/R Turbo Look

My car is also WTL and these are what I bought, too bad you are so far away as I ended up with two sets over the different orders I bought from Porsche...
