Success !
The fan pinging (tight belt) went away shortly after this video. Refill & test drive next to seat the rings/pistons (later in the week).

Actually 1st crank it coughed, then some odd engine smoke which we thought may have been electrical so shut it down. This was the retry that went the whole 20 mins. Man did that seem like forever !
