Dealer Damaged Anodized Finish of Original Wheels
Is anyone aware of someone who is able to restore the anodized finish of my original wheels? The dealer cleaned them with some harsh (chemically hot) engine cleaner/degreaser which left "milky" stains which now can only only be removed with polish which will remove the rest of the original finish and make them shiny.
I am sick over this -This is a one owner, totally original paint car.
Dealer Parts department checked for new ones and the only ones shown are:
951-362-115-30 (back ordered) and
928-362-119-30 (available)
I think these are "Aluminum Alloy Platinum Silver", NOT anodized, but I am not sure.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Harvey Weidman (aka Weidman Wheels) can make them perfect. Not just nice, but Parade-winning perfect and exactly like they were when new. He can be hard to reach, but well worth the effort.

I am a Tech at a Porsche Dealer and we had the same thing happen a few years ago, all i know is we sent them out west and had the entire set refinished for the customer and it was Expensive, but they were perfect!

happened to me, I got an estimate on the refinish and then got them to cut me a check...Then I refinished/polished them myself and used the $ for some 17's off a 968.
