Default Just wanted to say goodbye.

Hey guys, I've been having problems with my car and I'm going to have to dump another 2K into it, so I have decided that I'm going to buy a new 350 Z after I fix it and sell the 951. I've looked around and I have decided on this car. Maybe I'll get another 951 in the future because I love these cars. So I just wanted to say farewell to all of you. You are great people and you really know your stuff. I thank all of you who have ever helped me in the past, but I'll be back so don't worry. I just won't post here for a while, because I'm starting some serious studying at school and I'm looking to get into the Weill Cornell Medical School. Either that or Harvard. So I just wanted to wish you all the best with your cars and I hope I can speak to you guys again. Take care all of you.

If any of you are interested in an 88 951 It'll be on autotrader soon. Thanks again guys.

Peace out

Cristiaan

A new 350 Z? Just my opinion, but if your in the market for an expensive new performance car, why not go with a Corvette?

You can do both! I am doing my thesis, working 40 hours a week as an analyst and maintain my car. Order of importance is car, thesis, then work.

Hey guys I took off five minutes to reply. The problem is the HG is blown, so I'll have to have that done then I'm going to do some head work because it's recomended when you take the head off. I also have to have the water pump replaced along with new wheel bearings and a new steering box. I really like the 350Z I went to go look at it, and I'm getting a good deal on one. I'm not too crazy about the RX8 or the Boxster S mainly because they don't have as much power as the 350. Plus I'm going to get the track edition with navigation. That's mare than I can ask for. As far as my car is concerned, I'll be asking around 14-15 thousand. I'll try and reply if I can set aside some more time. Take care guys.

Hey, good luck with your studies.

But you know I have to ask what caused the headgasket to go? Were you running the Guru chips at the time?

Thanks...

Silverbullet951,

I went through medical residency with my 951 and I must say it took up some of my time so your probably making a good decision in getting a newer car so that you dont have deal with some of the problems that can cause you more stress then you will already be going through. That said, you will have a hard time replacing a car like the 951 so you should consider storage if its possible. Good luck.
