Default Rear bearings

I'm waiting for some new rear rotors as mine had a good amount of runout/warpage. Yes actually warped. So while im waiting, is there a way to inspect rear bearing and possibly repack without the bearing falling apart in process? I can't detect any play but things may be different with weight off the bearings.

I don't think you can repack the rears. And anyway, getting them out and re-installed is such a hassle, you really should just replace them if you do that.

I really don't want to pull them apart if I'm Going to have to commit to replacing them unless they are bad. They don't seem to be I bet the grease is pretty dry though

I wouldn't go looking for trouble trying to repack them. It's a sealed bearing so replacement (which is a PITA) is the only real option. If it's not making noise just leave it alone.

Agree with JustinL, it is a sealed bearing, it is a pain, but if you do replace them, do both sides. You'll be a pro by the time you do the second one and install time will be cut in half :-)

Freeze the bearing, heat the bore and they should easily push in. If you have to coax it a bit use the outer race of the old bearing as a punch of sort. DO NOT PUSH on the inner race during install or you'll destroy a new bearing.
