Thanks to all for the compliments!

I ceratainly like it too. I have always been a huge fan of the black Fuchs. They look very classic IMO.

The Kokeln shifter buzz/noise is already getting to me even with the minimal seat time I have had. I might contact SFR, but I am really not sure what I should do. I might just go back to stock. I really prefer the stock shift **** look.

looks great! i'd suggest get a copy of PET and the service manuals, invaluable for those who wish to work on their own cars.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is "PET"?

Thanks,
Max

PET is the factory/dealer electronic parts catalog. there are versions out there (illegal / hacked? not sure the ethical answers but frankly i don't care, it helps me order the right parts, my local dealer is MUCH easier to work with if i give them part#s).

SAM - Sorry you couldn't make it by for the USGP. It was incredible. I'll be back for INDY though. Would love to see that car of yours.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes! I will be getting into a few things this weekend. I hope all of it goes well. I might have some questions.

Nice car! Try to be safe with all of that power. I also have an Red '86 with Fuchs, which I love. Still pretty much stock with just chips though.

The advice about the manuals and the PET is right on. You really need to get a set if you want to wrench effectively on these cars.

Enjoy!
