86 944 turbo will not crank after depleted battery
Hi everyone,
I tried to jump start my 86 951 after it sat for about 3 months and I could not start it.
No cranking or turn over at all.
I read some posts and it seems pointing to the alarm that probably cut off some stages of the ignition... There are suggestions to bypass the alarm but I want make sure there are no other simpler methods to "reset" the alarm.
The alarm is operational as I can engage and disengage it with the additional key.
Any help / pointers will be appreciated!
Thanks a lot.

Ok check voltage at battery. Check voltage at starter. Could be simple bad connection. Check the starter wire on firewall as mentioned see if it's sending voltage to starter when key turned to crank. If all check out then whack starter and solenoid couple times.
