Default 951 steering rack

Our 86 951 track car has a leaking steering rack: big surprise, huh? I want a rebuilt one instead of trying to rebuild ours, but the prices range from about $250 at places like Autozone, to $1300 for a ZF. There are lots of options in between. I want to do it right once and not worry about it. What makes the ZF so much more? Are they less likely to leak soon? I'm ok with spending more than a cheap one since it's a track car. Anyone ever install a ZF or one from 944online?

Try DC Automotive. I got my rebuilt rack at least three years ago and going strong. I believe they warranty it for one year.

I have a complete system for $150, no leaks and works perfectly. Moving to a manual rack.
