Default GURU 951S 9a Chips for sale

Hi Guys-
Posting this to hopefully catch the S guys' eyes.
Im asking $230 for the pair. They were in a MAP kit I just bought and I don't need them.

How much diference in S vs. Non S chips?? COuld non S 951 use them to run more boost??

Hmm.... You would have to ask Danno on that one. The major difference is the S chips have 28 pin DME chip (for later 951s). Not sure what the '87 has.

'87 (or was it '88???) DME has 28 pin chips, but there still may different provisions for the larger turbo and whatnot for the S.

The S and non-S chips have somewhat different fuel mapping because of the differences in the K26/6 and K26/8 turbos. The K26/6 requires more fuel in the midrange because it builds boost a bit sooner. The K26/8 requires more fuel on the top end because the boost doesn't drop off as much as with a K26/6. Using the S chip in a non-S car is probably not a good idea because the A/F ratios won't be optimal.

87 was a 24pin chip. 88 they went to 28 pin, if i'm not mistaken?
