chris do you really need a FPR? I don't have one but my car isn't stock either. Information would be helpful

I hope you have one! Every 944 has one - they are normally 2.5 bar. The 3 bar ones are for GURU chips - it provides extra fuel pressure for the added boost.

Hmmm... how much for the AFM and j-pipe? I want to borrow them for about a couple of days to see if its tuning problems with my MAP set up or whats going on.

Regards,

Brad,
The chips came in a MAP kit I just purchased- but I already have GURU chips and I don't even have an S for that matter
Nice to see a fellow Cpt on the board -- You have an email.

Sean,
I actually had a spare fuel rail but just sold it - strange coincidence (prob. the only spare fuel rail I will ever have lol).

Daniel-
Depending on who made your chips, may need one, may not. It just scales your whole car a little more richer. With the Arc 2 you are prob. set. Not too sure. I would like to check out your car as well - maybe when you are in town you could stop by? PM or email me

I haven't finished my sub setup yet. I had them in a custom box- but it was too big. The thing took up my whole hatch area. Im shooting to put my 12's in the rear wells in the hatch area. It will be pretty tight but I noticed that if I pull out the carpeting and sound cancelling material back there I would gain about an inch or so. We'll see how that goes. For now, I just have the HU installed - no comps yet. Here's the post: https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...=new+head+unit

How do you think it would sound if you put the sub in the spare tire well. You can make a fiberglass box for in there. ALso in my other car i made a slant box that came down from the back seats facing the hatch that sounded really good but i was trying to figure out a way so you can't see it. I guess you can do it that way and buy that thing that covers for hatch area.

Take out the back seats plenty of room for subs.

follow this link for pictures of a 2/10 install in the spare tire well. I fiberglassed a box in there and installed 2 Soundstream Davinci 10 subs, powered by a 900 Watt Soundtream amp mounted where the rear seats used to be. My mids and tweets are Soundstream powered by a Soundstream 480 watt. I run a Clarion Head unit.
The link has a ton of pics and might give you some ideas on what you can do with the stereo.
When My Rear Seat top is folded down (which it is most of the time) and my subs are covered, the install is completely stealth and sounds amazing. Not only is it powerfully loud when I want it to be, it is crystal slear and extremely well defined.

if you happen to be a cardomain member, post something in my guestbook so I can check your car out too.
