Default Anyone familiar with this car?

Seems like a lot of work for what the dynoe graph shows. Looks clean though.

I don't own one of these yet (looking hard), but it looks like some of those wire/hose runs in the engine compartment are not optimal. Perhaps he hasn't tried real hard to make this baby shine. Like he said, maybe with some tuning 400 hp could be obtained.

i wouldn't ever consider a car that an owner allows to run w/o timing covers. Imagine what he does for the rest of the car.

that car should be making way more power.
If they are incapable of tuning the car, it kind of makes you wonder if they are capable of maintaning the car.

Luke - I run no timing belt covers, Tony G runs no timing belts covers, my buddy the repairs these for a living runs no timing belt covers. No pissing match intended but I really dont think it is a big deal. I wouldnt buy it because it is poorly tuned and likely to have a problem if that is all the power he made.

I would not be too concerned about the timing cover. At least he keeps an eye on it and you can always add one if so inclined. The only problem is how wet it is in Oregon and moisture in the belt? You could easily replace the belt, which I would do first anyway.

Also where are the interior and rear of the cars pics? I would like to see them. It look great under the hood and outside. But whats up with that low torque number? 256.8? A chipped k26/6 will give more torque at the wheels than that?

That was my point, I am not looking to buy it but I wondered about the torque number being so low.

With the 3" exhaust, boost controller and engine management system he should see AT least 300hp plus have a higher TQ. The injectors start to run out of fuel at around 290-300 from what I have heard but he is running 83lb/hr injectors, he should have close to 340 hp and matching TQ. My car has more TQ then his and I have reliboost and guru chip.

What little I've heard of the TEC-II, this could definitely be part of the weak link in the equation. I've heard of many cars with the TEC-II that require "minor tuning" to be perfect, I have not heard of many TEC-II cars that are fully sorted, if you catch my drift.
