Hey guys,
Picked up a replacement sunroof motor assembly for my '87 951, and can't seem to locate any process/steps on how to set the correct gear/arm positioning.
Do I feed the cable up in the sunroof tube all the way forward, and then install the arm gears and then just attach it to the motor and it will all sort itself out with the limit switches?
I think if the cable is in the fullest extended position, that is when the arms should be installed in the fully "up" position, and the cable on the motor should be tripping the single microswitch (opposed to the dual microswitches) to let the car know not to go any further. Make sense?
