Ok i got it running with the KLR disconnected and pins 9&16 bridged in the harness, so now I guess I need to keep searching for a hidden Factory Alarm module I suppose. Fun.

I also need to swap out my coil for his to ensure that's not the culprit as well.

Like I said it's an 88 Turbo S in stock Silver Rose

Perhaps behind the glove box anyone? I know it's in the car somewhere: radio is out & computers are loose & I don't see that sucker anywhere: next is to pull the glove box shell & see if it's been zip-tied up somewhere out of reach :/

Not gonna be much room to relocate anything up above the glove box. Plus harness length would be a problem. Considering you have the DME/KLR out and don't see any type of aftermarket extension, I doubt you'll find anything. I had all of that removed to do my stand alone install and my car did not have an alarm module of any kind. My car is also a Silver Rose 1988 944 Turbo S.

Mine had an aftermarket alarm installed above the drivers foot well. This location gives it easy access to the bottom of the relay/fuse panel wiring (basically all of your chassis wiring). I spent a bit of time in the astronaut launch position, cleaning up the wiring after its removal.
