Default Turbo leaking oil

I just finished installing a rebuilt turbo on my car. After driving it for the first time today, it is leaking a significant amount of oil from somewhere around the turbo. Any ideas about might be the cause? Thanks!

If on top, did you remember the o-ring under the oil inlet pipe flange, is the banjo bolt for the oil inlet pipe tight and did you remember the sealing seals on each side. Did you remember the seal ring under the turbo, this seal is not under pressure so you should not have it squirting out.

Thanks for the list of things to check. I did install the items you mentioned (at least I thought I did!), but I'll go through and make sure it's all buttoned up tight. It's a bummer because the car is boosting like a maniac for first since I've owned but I can't drive it yet!

What kinda of turbo did you install? If it was a stock unit did you use new o-ring and seals?

A little update here: After removing the intake manifold, I could see fresh oil on top of the turbo. The o-ring on the oil inlet flange still looked good but I replaced it with a new one. So far no oil leak!
