Ripped Off by Joe LeBlanc
It's been quite a while since I've posted, and I wish this wasn't the reason for it.
In April of this year I bought a used A/C condenser for my 87 Turbo, so I could get everything up and running for a nice toasty Arizona summer.
I paid $75 to Joe LeBlanc (username: DangerIsland) and he dissapeared with it.
In early August I contacted him again, and he explained something had come up, and he'd throw in some door trim for the inconvenience of having not sent the part in a timely manner -- he promised me a tracking number the next day and promptly dissapeared.
I've finally had enough, and the last two days I've attempted to contact him on email, through Rennlist contact option, as well as AOL IM -- without so much as a peep in return. He has my email addresses, IM and phone numbers.
I realize Joe has been an active member here, and probably sold quite a few items and completed the sale -- but he didn't this time, and frankly has been dishonest.
If there are real life concerns that I don't know about, it sure would be nice to get an explanation -- I'm more concerned about that than any money. Joe, where are you?
Just beware. I'd be happy to provide the trail for everything I've said.
And -- if anyone has an old A/C condenser unit they'd like to sell, please email me as csmende@neubayern.net or yahoo.com -- I'm trying to get my car back whole again!

Like I said, I'm sure he must have delivered plenty of times in the past -- based on his posts that seems to be the case, so it surprises me this happened.
As far as his email, unless he has a new one -- it doesn't contain crow in it anywhere.
Oh well -- I think I have another condensor coming my way soon...
Has anyone emailed or talked to Joe in recent times?
