Default FABSPEED MOTORSPORT| Porsche 944 Turbo 951 Catbypass Pipe and Downtube

I've had a lot of interest with my racing customers lately and wanted to share this product so all could see!

Our combination 3" Catbypass Pipe and Downtube increases exhaust flow from the headers to the mufflers and added 26 whp and 29 ft-lbs when tested on a coworkers 951.

We can also add a catalytic converter if desired. Contact me for special Rennlist pricing!

While we can offer coatings for an additional charge, each set comes in a polished finish.

So that's a polished finish? Very nice (and labour intesive).

Thank you, a polished finish indeed. I'd call it around a 75% polish as we leave some of the machining marks - we make these by hand and want them to look as such.

You should make some 16V headers to go with it.

We'd love to have a shot at it...but we don't think we could offer a product that would meet a reasonable price point for the market!

Do you do the Mandrel bending in house or do you send it out?

A video of the exhaust being made would be cool to see.

There is a nice video on an F1 exhaust maker site but your stuff would be nice to see too

Here's our Unison Breeze all-electric CNC mandrel tube bender which makes quick work of our bending projects.

You may be interested in this post in our Behind the Performance thread which goes into our fabrication division; in it there's also a video of us making a Porsche exhaust.

How many sets of 16v turbo headers would you need to move to come in at a "reasonable" price?

It's more about the overhead costs, hand made nature, and lack of shared components with other products that would result in a high price - that combined with the fact that it's a non factory setup (according to our 944 guy here) and the variables between builds could result in varying degrees of fitment. While it would be a fun project and we'd love to do more for the community, our R&D department is already up their eye ***** in modern Porsche performance duties.
