I would if that was an option but I don't think they will handle something as large as a splitter. To be honest I didn't ask John when I spoke to him today as I was lumping my order in with Justin's.

I ship lots of large paintings. USPS is much cheaper to Canada. It's not much slower and can be equally insured. I'd ask the guy to ship it and ask him to put the duty value at 14.00 or you will also have to pay Canadian taxes. USPS will insure what ever you want and it won't have any bearing on the duty tax value. One of my clients and I went through this whole deal on a 36X48 painting, and after research it came out well. UI paid 28.00u.s. in shipping. The USPS will ship based on weight once you get to the size of a splitter. Goodluck.

Yeah, I put my order in on Thursday, and he was hoping to get it out by the middle of this week. I'm glad so many people participated. Hopefully, everone feels like they're getting a good deal.

Thanks for the tip ehall. I wasn't sure USPS would handle something that large but will ask John. I'll try him tomorrow as I couldn't find the time today (work).
Thanks for getting this started Jon! If it wasn't for you, and JustinL for allowing me to share shipping costs, I wouldn't be adding this sweet accessory to the the car.
I appreciate it!

Burma shave (love the name btw) I would have a batwing for you that is in really good shape except for some scratches on the bottom. By "Batwing" you do mean the black plastic thingy that screws into the front spoiler/bumper right?

According to UPS tracking, my splitter is sitting on my front doorstep. I'm this --> <-- close to leaving work early to go home and see it.
will report on quaility, general workmanship of the piece tonight
thanks for your work Jon

I'm really just glad it worked well for everyone. Please let me know what you think, as mine probably won't be here for another week or so.
I'm more than happy to organize another one with another supplier, but not until my wallet recovers.

My splitter arrived in perfect shape. Ordered last Wednesday afternoon and it made it across the country in under 7days. Mine came primered in white, so I'll have to paint it matte black to match my other trim pieces. Hope to install this weekend. Still looking at the best way to do this. Its track car so I don't have to make it look pretty. Drill will come in handy it seems
