Default Plumbing to carbon canister necessary on track car?

Need to replace a clutch master cylinder, and the tubing for gasoline fumes to the canister in the driver's side fender is one of the things in the way.

For a dedicated (will never be street legal again) track car, is there any need to replace this plumbing? It would appear that some gas and vacuum lines would need to be plugged.

Some A/C lines are also in the way, but the rest of that system is long gone.

Also, any tips on replacing the clutch master cylinder?

If you remove the carbon canister and associated plumbing make sure you:

1) Cap the 2 vacuum nipples on the water elbow at the back on the cylinder head. Or replace with a bolt 1.0 thread pitch

2) Small breather filter on top of fuel tank or cut and route the plastic hose a bit out of the way somewhere in the middle of the vehicle.

3) Cap the 90* fitting under the throttle body. Or remove it and plug with a set screw or bolt.

4) Might be a hole in the j-boot to plug also, haven't had those in a long time so cant remember.

I think that covers it.

On my car I removed it and put a little breather filter on the breather line in the rear right wheel well. Just cap off all of the vacuum lines. I pretty much cleaned out anything that didn't make the car go.
