What weight synthetic oil for tranny/diff

Red Line sent me an email suggesting MT-90 as the best choice rather than MTL. Obvious to me is the lack of a completely wrong answer. Other than the oil carrying a GL-4 service rating (so as to be non-coorosive) it appears to me that many products are acceptable. As far as I can see the biggest things to worry about are: Corrosiveness and beign too slippery for the sycros to work well. Other than that I can't find anythign that would preclude using a heavy wt oil.

I think I am going with Redline MT-90. Will report any difficulties.
