Ground Control Coilover Conversion Kit Front - need helper springs or not
Is anyone running this set up and do you use helper springs or not?
Changing up my front suspension into GC Coilover Conversion Kit with 300 lbs 2.5 ID Eibach springs. Car is used for DE and occasionally weekend drive around.
I am not planning to go too low with the car height but will still have around 2" 2.5" gap between the spring and top perch in the free state (unloaded).

I have the same setup gc front and rear with torsion bars deleted. 300# w/racers edge camber plates without helper Springs and racers edge rear lower mount with 500# Springs with no issues on a daily driven street car.

If you don't use helper springs, zip tie the spring hat to the top of the spring. My spring hats have two holes already in them. If you don't it can become misaligned on a rough surface or perhaps at the track. When this happens you will start hearing clunking sounds.
