Assuming by track you mean a twisty, curvy road course with no really long straights...
Even a stock 951 would probably be able to best the Cayenne S (without the turbo it's pretty slow), would be an even match for the S2k, and I'm not sure about the Audi (I'm not familiar with that model).
None of the cars you listed are set up for track driving from the factory. They don't have aggressive camber, stiff springs, stiff sway bars, or racing brake pads.
With $15k, you could easily buy all that, the necessary safety equipment, and enough engine work that the Viper and Z06 wouldn't be able to make up the race951's lead coming out of a corner. The 951 wouldn't need to out accelerate them. It would come out of the corner first, with a better exit speed. And due to the superior braking (race pads and a stripped interior), and ability to enter the corner faster, it would be able to brake later.
You could put $15k into a civic and make it a better track car than anything on that list (300whp turbo, race suspension, race brakes, safety equipment, strip the dead weight).
On the 5th, I rode with an '86 951. He had:
stock engine, plus a 30hp chip, plus a 3" cat bypass exhaust,
stock tranny (including LSD),
stock brakes, plus an '87 951 ABS system and race pads,
stripped interior, with safety equipment and cobra race seats,
race suspension (1200lb. front / 1000lb. rear springs, new dampers and turbo cup sways), and
an aggressive alignment.
He was FAST. I'm not sure how good of a driver he was (other than that he was obviously much better than I am), since I have no frame of reference for track driving skill, but he is an AZRA instructor, so he's probably pretty good. I've been in stock C5s, M3s, and 996s prepped for autoX (some running R-compounds), and I don't think any of them could keep up with that 951 on a corner, unless they had aftermarket suspensions.

uber944:
I ran agaist a new M5 that was chipped and had a custom air intake and cat back exhaust at Willow Springs at one of our private track days.
Although the M5 was surprisingly fast, it was no match in either cornering or acceleration around the track (and we were both running real street tires) for my 951 at 16psi boost (about 380RWHP). I pulled him quite easily down the straights, and could pull him around the corners pretty easily too.

I'm not sure about the Audi
The Audi S4 was a four wheel drive Audi A4 with twin turbos. It was offered in the US for a few years. While it was a watered down version of the Euro version, I drove one on the street, and it was extremely impressive. I was told by someone who raced against them that they were very fast on the track due to their four wheel drive capability.
I believe Audi intends to re-introduce the model.

AG951... Was this the car?
If so I know that driver and car. He is very good. For an intersting comparison that car without the chip runs 2-3 seconds faster at PIR than my 944-spec car. Compared to cars on street tires it will smoke most of them. Heck even my little 131 rwhp 944 spec car will smoke some cars on that list if they are still on street tires.
As you described the car is light modified and well under the $15k upgrade amount. The car I described in my previous post is quite a bit faster than the 011 car.

This car is even more modified and will smoke anything on that list. In fact it can hold is own versus just about any race prepped car.
It has 400+ hp from 2.5l, but unfortuantly cost more than the $15k budget

you buy an evo and put more that 400 to the ground and i hear that they understreer like a mother. An evo would be no match to a lighly tuned 951 let alone a race modded one

Guys,
I recently had an opportunity to get on a track with an evo and let me tell you those cars can run. I was amazed at how well it cornered and pulled down the straights.

They do understeer because of the AWD. They are incredibly easy to throw around though. A whole bunch of fun. STi Wagon here I come!

i think the reason those cars handle so well is the tire they have near slicks on the sti so the limits of the tires are so high that the awd doesn't cause under steer and they have really good suspension

The tires on the STi are Bridgestone Potenza RE-070 and they are full tread and not terribly sticky. They are a great tires but not OMG tires.

yea i know but compaired to most tires on the market they are very sticky and just because a tire has alot of tread doenst mean its a bad tire look at the enzo tires they got alot of tread and most people cant even drive that car at its limit
