Preping the front end for frame rapair(waiting for frame rack straitener set up at the shop), strip paint, paint. I wish something didn't need to be rebuild or replaced on this car. By then again now I know it is all new or upgraded new parts. Like the whole car has been rebuilt. Ok not the calipers or front struts yet. That's about it.

These threads are cool, there is a similar one on the BMW 2002 board that I subscribe to, and (gasp) also the Alfa BB. It's a fun way to relate what you have done to/for your car, any cool drives, or if you just took it to the grocery store . . . .

Sadly, I have done jack sh*t to or for my 951 lately as it needs an engine rebuild (170K miles and 31 years on the bottom end, including 10K + track miles), but this afternoon I did poke the rear spoiler drains to clear the standing water that had accumulated after a rare SoCal rainstorm and whispered to it that I would soon begin building up a spare block . . . .

Edit: just saw that this is my 951st post! I need to get my *** in gear and get the 951 back on track! It runs and drives and will even pass smog, but compression is slightly low and blowby is slightly high. I guess a budget 2.8 stroker in Refresh951 style is coming up!

Just the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

I unsuccessfully installed the ball joint kit into my right control arm. I think the channel that the snap ring goes into is shot.

V Band 3" exhaust will exit passenger side behind door. This avoids putting exhaust under the transaxle allowing the flat bottom and defuser to start going up right after the transaxle.

The balance shaft cover is almost cosmetic but it also serves as a mounting brace for the dry dump oil pump.
